Whispering TreesNewsMusic Photos Downloads In the late 90's, Jay and I began experimenting outside of the Darkwave/EBM genre that we were known for. Through a friend, we were introduced to Tom, a wonderful guitarist with a very melodic, yet haunting sound that seemed to work perfectly with what we were doing. There was a small unfinished song that I'd been playing around with called Whispering Trees, that Tom took a liking to at one of our get togethers. All that really remains of the original is a small bit of synth at the beginning, the drums and the phrase Whispering Trees. When Jay began working on the track, I only had a small, small amount of lyrics. We began working together to come up with something. In the end, Jay had the wonderful idea of steering the song towards a story of a 'Holy Warrior', possibly reminiscent of both of our military days. Matched with the flowing guitar and Jay's heart rending performance, the song has become a favorite of ours. Furthermore, Count Zero's. who produced the track, really stripped out the unneeded and honed in on the sensitivy of the composition making it a public favorite to boot. This text will be replaced
